Greetings, lost children! Thank you for making your way here! Here is where I, a cat, write small short stories- or, at least tries to. I write, but have a bad habit of never ever returning to finish it, with this I hope at least I return to do more. (ΦωΦ)
Since most of what I'll write will be in spoilers you are free to comment here! Just don't spam guys.
Some things to take in note before reading:
- English is but my second lenguage, so there will be some mistakes here and there.
- This is the first time I'll start posting my writtings, so do be mindful of what you post.
- If you like any particular story, make sure to tell me! I may end up writting a second part if someone shows interest.
- REMEMBER any character intrdudced in my stories are MINES so do ask before using them anywhere else. I put a lot of time thinking of them! ...most of the time.
- Do not copy my work or post it in any other website. I'll allow things like sequels or traductions if you so desire, but you must post the link back to the original.
Anyways, I do hope you enjoy my stories!

He woke up to the loud sound of explosions, gunshots and maybe to a small rock falling on his head given the sting on it's left side. Maybe it hadn't been a small rock at all.
The moment he started to sit up, someone approached him quickly and started to pull him along, to stand up and get away. Away from the explosions and shoots happening around them, away from the crumbling building and dangerous smoke created by the pieces of concret making contact with the barren ground.
"Concentrate on the center! I repeat, attack the center!"
Not too far away, he could hear someone screaming.
"It's making a straight bee line to the container! Don't let that thing get of out the building!"
"Where's the detonator?! We should have buried that thing hours ago!"
Panicked answers he couldn't make out, he finally was walking along the soldier pulling him along behind the sand bags. It was hard- his steps were funny and he felt like he had no balance at all, was he carrying something on that bag on his back? He got no answer when he questioned the person helping him out.
Most of his senses were dulled too, so maybe they had given him something?
"It's walking out! It's walking out!"
"Shoot it down! Don't let it leave the building!"
Turning around as his wounds were being taken care of, he could see at least twenty soldiers shooting at the smoke coming from the building that was too thick to see through, what seemed to be a bigger number of snipers close by where he was were shooting too. They were all concentrating at shooting at the center, were he had to concentrate to actually try to make out what they were shooting at. He couldn't make much, but something was certainly staring back at them as if nothing.
Staring at them with cold, vibrant, neon eyes.
Slowly, the figure stepped out, still shadowed by the lack of lights capable of cutting through the rising smoke, walking in short steps as it was continously bombarted by bullets. Some did hit, some simply bounced out, but seemed to be the reason for it to be so slow on it's way out. As he tried to make more out of the figure walking out, a sniper positioned himself right next to him, readied his gun—
Clank!
And shoot the figure's left arm right out of it's socket, leaving only a mess of cables and tubes coming out from it, alive and sparking in an eerie light.
"A direct hit!"
"Great! Continue with the attack! Target it's core this time—"
For a moment, he drowned all the sounds surrounding him: the soldiers, the gunshoots, the crumbling building, as he stared at the figure. It cooked it's head to the side, slowly turning to see it's missing limp. Despise the bullets and screams of the soldiers, it took some good five minutes to stare at it's arm on the ground. Slowly, something slithered out of the empty socket, passing the cables and tubes as it streched out and downwards.
The whole area had fallen silent, he hadn't noticed when, but even the gunshoots had stopped.
Thin and long, the thing streched into the arm on the ground, dived into the empty part from where it had separated from it's torso, and slowly pulled the arm back to it's place.
When had he started to run with the soldier's help?
"It's not empty! I repeat, target it's not empty!"
"We need to blow that thing now!"
They were all running now, retreating further away from where his wounds had been treated, fast and away as possible from the figure and the building. Some soldiers turned back to shoot it, keeping it from advancicng too much, before someone held up their hand up on the air. They all stoped and ran away, leaving a single soldier behind with something in their hand- the detonator, if he had to guess. He seemed to be right, because as soon as the soldier pressed the button the ground shook and flames erupted from what was left of the crumbling bulding, the fire swallowing the figure as it was quickly buried under concrete.
"Is it dead?"
"We can't assume that, look for the body!"
A couple of soldiers slowly approached the area, flaming bits of debris still falling, when he felt it. It was like a cold bucket was being poured over him as he realized, remembered, why he was the only one who had made it out alive.
With a hoarse voice, he yelled as loud as his lungs would allow him.
"Run away! It's not empty, it knew what you were planing- it wanted you to get closer—! "
He didn't get that far before a piece of the building was thrown at the soldiers, crushing whoever hadn't been quick enough to run away from the boulder. Soon enough, large boulders were being thrown at the soldiers who had barely any chance of evading given how quick they were being thrown, the few who had managed to duck in time were knocked out by the rocks that flew into the air by the impact of the boulders.
Soon enough, he was the only one awake or alive, on the ground, he could only hear heavy steps approaching, slowly. He didn't need to look up to know, as it stood before him, quietly looking down on him with it's cold eyes. Sadly, this meant he was able to see how it's lower body was- it had managed to drag it's left leg along, still connected to it's body by the same slithering limb that had retrieved it's arm before. It was pulling the leg quickly, trying to reattach the limb back.
"You..."
"Thirty-four percent of my body was damaged, twelve was compromised by the fire, and six percent had to be discarded before they melted other components together. Forty-eight percent remains intact, without counting the integrity of the core."
It's voice was dull, slightly muffled, as it spoke. He was pretty sure that was because of what seeme to be a blue muffler wrapped around it's neck, covering it's mouth.
"On your part, this attack costed you the loss of a company. With this, the amount of soldiers dead by my hand plus prior attacks forms a battalion. I would like to state this is mostly not my fault."
He snarled at the thing, trying to stand up and punch it, but quickly found it impossible to remain standing. He had made a fool himself- trying so desperately to stand up without a leg. The thing cocked it's head to the side, paying no real attention to his efforts, and simply continued talking.
"Cease hostile behaviour—"
A gun had been throw near him during the attack, and he quickly took it, still had bullets. He pointed at the thing's chest and shoot once.
Bang!
"-it has already been stated no human is able to openly damage me without proper equipment—"
Bang!
"-your attacks are futile—"
Bang!
"-and I'll continue attacking until your forces stop doing so."
Bang!
The bullets had hit the mark, making some visible dents on the metal casing protecting the core- and the being hidding behind it. The creature gave him a look that obviously told of how unimpressed it was with his efforts, but it remainde quiet for a long time. It was only that it spoke againt that he felt a chill run down his spine.
"I wonder..."
Something clicked, it's wrist pulled down and held by the metallic parts inside as something started to creep out it- it was twisting inside the metal, he could see it, it was slowly turning shiny.
Oh no.
"You who are human..."
He tried to scurry away, run, but it was useless. The thing inside was turning sharp, and the metal casing protecting it was slowly lowering, opening, to give it's longed freedom as the thing looked down at him again with it's neon blue, robotic eyes. He vaguely wondered, how did those eyes really looked.
"Are you empty inside?"
Slash!
Pieces of the report from Lieutenant Ray Hyde, commander of the platoon know as 'The Cardinal Platoon', regarding the company adressed as 'The Crimson Flock', from The United Republic of Nilverul.
Due to some papers found in the scene, it was promtly noted that the company had come in with the news of the rogue M.A.I.T.A (Military Artificial Inteligence: Tank Class), codename 'Acolyte', was on the B&D Commercial Building on the north side of Aude City. The company divided into two sections in order to corner Acolyte and retrieve it's body for reproduction purposes in order to gain the upper hand on future attacks.
((REDACTED))
The remains of more than half of the company were found inside the charred building, while the other bodies were found outside. It's speculated the comapany engaged Acolyte with destructive results, those alive were able to confirm this during interrogation. While most of the bodies found on the scene were able to be recognized by their belongings by those left alive, it cannot be said the same of those who died inside the building. Most of the bodies still need to be recognized.

Note:A sole survivor of the section that went to engage Acolyte inside the building, adressed as Calvin Pearson and who had been wounded on his way out, was last seen alive near Acolyte before the adresser fainted.
