Introduction
Welcome to The Lost Children’s LOTRO Guide! We have complied as much information as possible to help make your transition into Middle Earth as smooth a one as possible. Please read the guide before asking questions, because we can almost guarantee we have answered it somewhere in here! However, if you do find you have a question that isn’t answered, don’t be afraid to PM Eyriana on game, or xxLostChildrenxx on site for the answer. In addition, please keep in mind this is a starting Guide, meaning we only included information that will help the new players guide their way through the game. This does not include ‘sophisticated’ playing, or more ‘elite’ styles and ways to play. This is the basics. To find out more in-depth information, there’s plenty on the internet, or always feel free to ask on the side!Signing up / Downloading / Character Creation
All of this is pretty straight forward. Once you go to the LOTRO website and start to download the game, you must do what all gamers hate: wait for download. Sometimes, yes, it can take a long freaking time, but it’s worth it! Be patient with this download, as there is a lot to include.
Once it downloads and is ready, type in your username and password! Once that is complete, a screen will come up that gives you a list of servers. If you wish to play with The Lost Children, please pick Evernight as your server.
As far as character creation is considered, once you log into your account, go to “New Character” and decide on your race, and your class, before then picking where you are from . After that, you will design your character and name it , then . After that, find your character's name on the character list; and finally “Enter Middle Earth” .
